It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and in line with our Saturdays at Carousel we’re joining together on this one to present Santa Claus… Wait, no, we mean Dan Ghenacia!

Dan Ghenacia is the undisputed kingpin of the Paris underground scene and one of France’s hottest DJ exports, having founded and ran for seven years Freak N’ Chic and now one of the three creative minds behind new label and b2b2b DJ outfit Apollonia.

Dan’s love affair with music ignited whilst spending a year in California in his early 20’s, soaking up West Coast house and psychedelia. On his return to Paris, Dan channelled this passion into a record selling business opening his own store Traffic Records, but as a true fan of the music he didn’t just want to peddle vinyl – he wanted to play it. Quickly gaining notoriety on the Paris scene with the infamous afterparties at Batofar, it was here he honed his distinctive techno-meets-deep-house sound, at the same time inspiring a new generation of DJs and first sharing the decks with later to become lifelong friends, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky.

He's joined by bossman Kerry Wallace, linking arms and skipping in merrily alongside Alma, as they take on the opening hours. They’ll be decking the halls and warming the floor perfectly before Dan slides down the chimney. Nils Twachtmann is donning his best chimney sweep uniform as he takes control of the platters that matter for the late night sunrise session, ensuring we leave with out much of a trace, just a few crumbs and an empty glass of milk.

NYD welcomes in our first event of the new year, and what an absolute thumper of a show it is. 

Breakfast at S.A.S.H has always held the most special place in our hearts. When the sun comes pouring in through those big glass windows, the energy in the room is absolutely electric. There's something about an after-hours that just hits different, and we're leaning right into this one, setting the stage for a proper heavy hitter. 

Gene On Earth has been one of our favourites since we first heard his early tunes. His unique style stands out from the crowd, and he's continued to develop on an exponential trajectory. His brand & record label - Limousine Dream - is much the same, driven by Gene (pun very much intended) with the same integrity, passion, and high standards that he holds himself too.

This NYD we finally welcome Limousine Dream, alongside Gene, to Australia, with an all-star cast joining him. Fan-favourite (and one of ours too) Dyed Soundorom is making his return, with Ron Obvious and Melody rounding out this fantastic four.

We're pushing the pedal to the metal and kicking off from 3pm up in The Terrace, with the rest of the venue opening shortly after as we take over the ENTIRE venue for this mammoth breakfast session.

The last Saturday of the year welcomes back one of our favourite artists, Laidlaw. 
With firm footing in the city of London, Laidlaw has become a trailblazer with his sound - igniting dance floors with energy each and every time he steps into the booth. The world of music moves forward through consistent work from certain individuals that constantly experiment and push the boundaries of sound into the unknown, searching for a new perspective on the already existing and building new movements from the ground up. Laidlaw has shown to be one of these creatives for the new generation of party-goers. The Beeyou Co-Founder has created a movement with his brand in recent years with a heavy focus on creating the ultimate atmosphere to get lost in sound, with a string of events that have taken the UK by storm, changing the way people party.

He's taking control for an extended 5-hour set taking us right through to the end of the night and seeing us through the sunrise session. Joining him, the Scenes crew have put forward two of their residents Felix! & Shing to charge with the task of an extended 3-hour warmup, ensuring the dance floor is properly primed and ready for Laidlaw to take control. We’re in for a big one!

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, a small little Sunday party gathered together every week in the sun-drenched courtyard at The Abercrombie Hotel. Whilst S.A.S.H didn't begin at The Abercrombie, it is certainly the place that it first gained notoriety and the momentum that shaped it into the well-oiled machine that it is today. 

From pulling together just enough funding to purchase our first Funktion One speakers (all of which we still own and use today), to beginning to tour our first international artists, from meeting our life-partners, and many of our nearest and dearest friends - The Abercrombie Hotel was the "unofficial start" of it all.

Ever since it closed down over a decade ago, we've dreamed of the day where we can gather there together again, reminisce about the past and how far we've come since those early days. This December we have that opportunity, and we're making one hell of a fuss about it. 

We're well accustomed to a long, non-stop party, so we thought why not make this one of the LONGEST! 

We've invited down a solid arsenal for our armory too, with a special Secret Guest taking out top honours, alongside the return of Kepler. We've also partnered together with Yoyaku Records to celebrate their 10th anniversary, inviting Aline Umber & Bruno Schmidt from their roster to join us for the occasion. 

This one is not to be missed!

Leading the lineup is Dyed Soundorom, a cornerstone of the French house movement, whose known for his psychedelic, deep, groove-forward sound, refined through decades of after-hours culture, global touring, and his iconic role in Apollonia.

Summer has set in strongly, and we’re not slowing down. Our good friends SlapFunk make the long journey across the world, bring a taste of Amsterdam to Sydney, with their resident Doudou MD in the hot seat.

Born from a Dutch classical singer/pianist player and a Congolese percussionist drummer, it comes as no surprise that the art of playing music literally runs through her veins. Her mostly vinyl sets are 90's UK/US/DE inspired, supported by strong percussion, rhythms and a spiritual touch. Always aiming to engage in a conversation with her crowd, dancing to her sets will release that inner gangster gut feeling in you. Body focused, voluptuous house and techno at its best.

Our main man Mr Brother steps back into the booth this week, taking charge of the warmup for Doudou, with Luca Dioguardi slotting into the sunset session to take us through the early evening.

Truly wonderful and unique, TDC is a sonic force that never fails to move the dance floor and pop the party, regardless of where or when he plays.

Well accustomed now, the third edition of our new night of the week belongs to one of the all-time greats of the deeper side of house music, Mihai Popoviciu. Mihai is considered one of the most innovative eastern European producers of electronic music today. He started producing music in 2001 and over many years of dedication – and lots of experimenting – he developed a truly unique and signature sound. As a producer he likes to innovate and is always refining his sound palette. His flavourous DJ sets have a distinctive personal touch delivering a perfectly balanced mixture of groovy beats, warm pads and musical emotions that leave you itching for more.

For a stalwart of this stature, we had to double down, bringing two of the best from Brisbane, Jack Foran & Walker, to take charge of the platters that matter, ensuring Mihai is perfectly warmed and welcomed to the floor. Cakkou rounds out the lineup, taking us through the early evening and the sunset session.

His sound is an infectious fusion of nostalgic 90s house intertwined with robust basslines and contagious melodies; all tied together with raw drum elements that are recognizably his own. In line with our move to weekly Saturdays in Sydney, we just couldn’t let go of doing something on Sundays, so we’re doubling down and getting together EVERY SUNDAY in Byron Bay, at Club Paradiso. You can expect to see the same international talent that we are bringing to Sydney, every week in Byron, alongside some of the best local and interstate selectors that the Northern Rivers, Sydney, and QLD has to offer. 

Priming our engines and strapping into the hot seat, we’ve invited down our good friends Half Baked London to dump the clutch and pump us hard into 6th gear. Their resident Sam Bangura is our guest of honour for this first weekend of Saturday madness. One half of the wild Brainsurfers duo – with Harry McCanna – and one third of the North South Records trio – also with Harry McCanna, and Dale Mussington – Sam is trading the North for the South and settling into Sydney with arsenal of heavy hitters in his record bag. 

He’s joined by S.A.S.H bossman Kerry Wallace, stepping up to set the scene and show us all how to properly warm a dance floor, as well as our main man on the ground in Byron – Mr Brother.

Programming and hosting of the 3 regular weeks of October are safely in the hands of Marley Sherman. Having previously worked in the role on a full-time basis for S.A.S.H, there are few who understand the complexities and nuances of curating a perfect night of music quite as intuitively as The Sherm. He is responsible for discovering, nurturing and providing a platform for a vast array of Sydney’s local talent, as well as helping to bring in the international stars that we know and love. 

In the final week of Sherm's Sunday Sessions we're treated to a couple hours of power from Marley himself. No stranger to a grand occasion, Sherm's a seasoned veteran when it comes to big ticket items. Whether it's intricately weaving stripped back sounds or slamming big house groovers he's got an extensive archive of party starters and deep dive charters. There's no one more fitting to see off our weekly Sundays! Joining him at the helm, NZ's Logan Baker & Jake Rattler have become Shipwrecked, leaving them beach'd as, bro, and stranded on our salty shores. We thought why not bring them in out of the cold and have them dish out the heaters to close the night. Josh Gapes is sneaking in before the main man himself, with Sydney's most notorious criminals are Jaywalking their way into the warmup for the night, ensuring when Sherm takes the stage we're all properly massaged and still a little oily. Tia Lacoste is the competition winner for this week, kicking things off from 9pm. 

As always, our focus for homegrown talent is a must, and with S.A.S.H’s goal to expand our community, the opening slot is on offer to a fresh new face to saddle up on the horse. Announced weekly, an eager jockey will take control of the club to kick things into gear for the evening.

Dingo makes his return to the booth, taking control of the warmer flavours and early hours in the lead up to midnight. Alioz is the competition winner for this week, setting the scene and kickstarting the night.

On the flip side, the dynamic duo of young guns Felix! & Shing in to send us well into the wee hours of the morning, with Marley Sherman taking control of the early evening, setting the mood. The competition winner slot for this week is awarded to MTHR.LDE, ready to roll in and get the night underway with deep lush, ambient tones, and ethereal ear candy.

There are few occasions as monumental and momentous as a S.A.S.H Long Weekend, and the October edition is always one of our favourites. With the start of daylight savings, longer days and warmer weather, it acts in part as an “opening party” for the Summer to come. Like all good opening parties, it demands an all-star cast of mood-setters, dancefloor directors, and all-time selectas. To celebrate the occasion, we return once again to the Forecourt at Watson’s EQ for a simmer-session in the sunshine, before taking things into the night at HOME The Venue in Darling Harbour. As always there’s a special surprise waiting for those who stick around until the wee hours of the early morning.

First off the chopping block is DJ Sneak, a Puerto Rican-born American DJ and producer. He is widely revered for his influential role in the second wave of Chicago house music and as a pioneer of the filter house sound. Sneak's signature style blends raw, jacking rhythms with disco-infused grooves, littered with a symphony of housey stabs & chords that give you the irresistible urge to move. In Chicago, Sneak found inspiration in underground house music, warehouse parties and "old school" mix tapes from the early pioneers, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Ralphi Rosario, Steve Hurley and local radio station shows played on WBMX. He has consistently remained at the top of the game since the early 90s when he first shot to fame, proving time and time again why he is considered one of the all-time greats. 

Our second guest for this mammoth session, is the Manheim man, Fabe! Born in Berlin, raised in Mannheim. From his roots in the 90s with HipHop, he found his way to the electronic music. First rising to prominence in 2010, after appearing on several projects, Fabe has made a success out of his career with a laidback ease that almost makes him feel like he could have been born and raised here in Australia. Swinging grooves and stripped back drums are his signature style, and his sound has remained incredibly unique and recognisable, unlike many who rise to the top and quickly find imitations aplenty. He’ll be playing a combination of sets across the day and the night, with his new Live show featuring the Teenage Engineering kit, as well as DJ sets too. 

Purveyor of fine records, eclectic styles, and serious basslines, Mella Dee is a name that has been walking the line between contemporary styles and underground sounds for well over a decade. In line with the concept that nothing stays the same, Mella Dee is a truly unique artist, someone not bound by a style or a sound, but rather a philosophy. A philosophy rooted in the idea that everything is always evolving and always changing, and as a result so does his sound. Despite this constant adaptation, one key element has always remained, bass. From his earlier days with the higher energy sounds of hardcore & happy hardcore, to the tech house and garage days, and more recently with the stripped back elegance as demonstrated in his recent SlapFunk release. Mella Dee is a man who knows a thing or two about wicked basslines. 

Finally, our crew of international talent is rounded out with someone we’ve been wanting to bring out for a long time. Lola Palmer is one of the brightest acts hailing from the Ukrainian electronic scene. She is an artist with a delicate taste and clear understanding of her own place in the rich and diverse dance music world. Born in the Ukraine and living in the Netherlands, she has no shortage of inspiration, clearly demonstrated in her diverse backlog of productions and DJ sets alike. In her earlier days she championed the deeper, lush sounds of house music, before moving into the more minimalistic stripped back arena. Nowadays she is just as comfortable playing at parties such as Gettraum alongside Traumer, with the Berg Audio crew surrounded by the Russian & Romanian deep stripped back sounds, or with the likes of the Voigtmann’s and Janeret’s of the world, pushing a tougher, but still succinctly house sound - her versatility knows no bounds.

It wouldn’t be a proper celebration without our esteemed local crews, DJs and punters. As usual, our international guests are joined by some of our nearest and dearest from the Sydney scene; well-established veterans and exciting up-and-comers alike! The Back To Boogie Wonderland crew continue their fan-favourite residency taking charge of The Maze, with PARKER & Friends beginning their own residency in The Box, both at S.AS.H By Night.

This October S.A.S.H returns to our western stable, once again coming together at the stunning Port Beach Brewery, littered with our favourite big purple boxes. 

This edition features the Manheim man, FABE, in the top slot - returning to Australian shores for the first time in just under 3 years.

Born in Berlin, raised in Mannheim. From his roots in the 90s HipHop, he found his way to the electronic music. Since 2010 he appeared in several projects and made his success, after dedicating completely to the underground music. Fabe continuously evolves himself, combining his talents in the studio, in the booth with an ambitious work ethic and an unstoppable drive. In 2016 he successfully started his own label - Salty Nuts. His swinging sound includes complex beat structures paired with a classic house drive and techy grooves. 

Joining our esteemed guest, Kody Monroe has been tasked with the ask of setting the scene and warming us up before the main act, with O'Gio making a return to control the early evening slot. Stepo is stepping up and stepping in to the open, making his S.A.S.H Perth debut and looming large and in charge of those early afternoon grooves.

This October Long Weekend, S.A.S.H returns to our Northern Stable. Once again we're coming together at the Stone & Wood Brewery, stacked to the brim with our beautiful purple Funktion One boxes.

Taking out top honours, and in charge of the platters that matter for the evening's occasion is Lola Palmer. 

Lola Palmer is one of the brightest acts hailing from the Ukrainian electronic scene. She is an artist with a delicate taste and clear understanding of her own place in the rich and diverse dance music world. Born in the Ukraine and living in the Netherlands, she has no shortage of inspiration, clearly demonstrated in her diverse backlog of productions and DJ sets alike. In her earlier days she championed the deeper, lush sounds of house music, before moving into the more minimalistic stripped back arena. Nowadays she is just as comfortable playing at parties such as Gettraum alongside Traumer, with the Berg Audio crew surrounded by the Russian & Romanian deep stripped back sounds, or with the likes of the Voigtmann’s and Janeret’s of the world, pushing a tougher, but still succinctly house sound - her versatility knows no bounds.

Joining her for the festivities, Jack Foran is tasked with the ask of setting the scene and ensuring we're all properly warmed before Lola takes the stage. Nikita Turner & Michelxn are responsible for the afternoon slot with Söfi, on debut, rolling out those first grooves that make you move.

This October Long Weekend, S.A.S.H returns to the Northern Rivers, once again showing that you can lead a horse to water. This time, however, we're setting up our big purple boxes in a new location, taking control of the grassy, sun-drenched courtyard at the North Byron Hotel for the first time. 

The October Long Weekend is such a wonderful occasion, it marks the start of the "Summer" season, with daylight savings changing over, the days getting longer, and everything a little warmer. Spring has well and truly sprung and there is an air of excitement, a really natural buzz around town. 

To properly see in the start of the summer season, as well as kickstart the S.A.S.H Summer Series in Byron Bay - keep those eyes peeled for more on this later ;) - we wanted to pull the trigger and get going with a bang. To achieve this, we're welcoming back DJ Sneak to Australian shores, for the first time in 15 years. 

Sneak is widely revered for his influential role in the second wave of Chicago house music and as a pioneer of the filter house sound. Sneak's signature style blends raw, jacking rhythms with disco-infused grooves, littered with a symphony of housey stabs & chords that give you the irresistible urge to move. In Chicago, Sneak found inspiration in underground house music, warehouse parties and "old school" mix tapes from the early pioneers, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Ralphi Rosario, Steve Hurley and local radio station shows played on WBMX. He has consistently remained at the top of the game since the early 90s when he first shot to fame, proving time and time again why he is considered one of the all-time greats. 

He's joined by an all-star cast, with Ibiza legend Mo'Funk, & S.A.S.H bossman Kerry Wallace both flying in from Sydney to join the Don, Sneak. Rounding out the lineup, Gene English returns to the booth, delivering those super lush, deeper house sounds for the early afternoon.

Like a double dose of sunshine, an extra layer of warmth and a comforting hug from mum, PARKER spreads good vibes everywhere he goes. A laid-back geezer with a true work ethic, he’s more than proven himself time and time again, as a DJ, a Producer, and a Promoter; he’s got it all. 

All good things must come to and end, but before we say farewell to PARKER, and the month of September, there’s one final Sunday session to be had. This one is headed up by our good friend SEPP. Sepp has been on the radar for quite a while now and recently things have taken flight for him. After touring extensively these past few years and getting accustomed to many cultures, he's grown and matured his sound both as a producer and a dancefloor conductor. As he moves forward and continues to delight and surprise people all around the world with his flair and precision mixing, SEPP is a name you will certainly come to hear more of in the future, but first you can hear him when he steps up to the plate on Sunday night from the stroke of 12. He’s been carefully sandwiched between the Sense-less duo C29STY x Nicholas Zarb on the warm up ting, and the far more sensible Angus Kyle ready to rumble in the jungle taking us deep into the wee hours of the morning for the close. As always, we’re kickstarted by our competition winner. This week the slot belongs to Eren Kalender, who always has a trick up his sleeve, or a potion in his pocket. 

As always, our focus for homegrown talent is a must, and with S.A.S.H’s goal to expand our community, the opening slot is on offer to a fresh new face to saddle up on the horse. Announced weekly, an eager jockey will take control of the club to kick things into gear for the evening.

They say three’s a crowd, and PARKER’s third week behind the bookings is certainly packed. Going bump to hump, he’s pitted himself and Kerry Wallace in a back-to-back for the ages; a session set to see you sweatier than priest in a playground; hotter than high horse in heat. They unshackle the chains and take the reins to steer this great beast from the stroke of midnight before handing over to Ashlea Milinkovic and Kemba throwing down the heavy hitters that give you those late-night jitters. There’s a double dose of debutants decking the halls for the earlier hours. Theodor Jasper makes his debut for the horse, sliding into the warmup for the night’s occasion, with Ghost Train duo taking the South Coast Line into the big smoke for a night on the tools as the competition winners for this week, kicking us off from 9pm.

Coming straight off the back of a seriously strong first week of tunes, PARKER’s back once again for the renegade master, and there’s no one more accurately described as renegades than Adam Holt & Neeso. I’m sure there’s a joke about an Englishman & a Scotsman, but I can’t remember the punchline. Thankfully these gritty lads will be delivering punch after punch as they loom large in the bold print, taking control of the platters that matter from the stroke of midnight. 

When he’s not laying low working on building festivals, studios, half of the opera house, Alex Ludlow occasionally likes to get out of the house and spin some tunes. The hardest working man in house music is swapping out the tools to come along and play something cool to bring the night to a close. As if that wasn’t already enough power in the final few hours, our Brazilian brothers RaW are digging a little deeper than usual – although not too deep – to set the tone, the pace and kickstart this race. Rounding out this pounding bill, Phrenik makes his debut in our stables, claiming the competition winner’s slot for this fine Sunday soiree.
