In our 2nd week of December we host a trio of international disk-jockeys, flying in from far and wide to give SASH a heaped serving of house, minimal and tech.

With a lineup this strong the opening set is very important so we’ve enlisted our good mate Jackson Winter to get vibes rolling before Maayan Nidam and Stephan Bazbaz. From all reports these 3 DJ’s smashed it at Subsonic, we’re excited to host them at SASH by Day this week.

★ Maayan Nidam ★
We are pleased to announce Berlin based DJ, producer and live artist Maayan Nidam joining us this Sunday, holding court in the courtyard for this week’s sun-set. Her stripped-back selections will be soundtracking the sandstone Terrace in the late afternoon.

★ Stephan Bazbaz ★
Stephan Bazbaz is one of Israel’s most talented underground Djs.
With a musical career that spread throughout the last 8 years, he started his interest in electronic music at the S.A.E Institute in Byron Bay Australia, where he studied sound production, later to embed this knowledge in his studio work. While these creative tools gave him the technical advantage with his early productions, it was always the club culture experiences – behind the decks or on the dancefloor – that pushed his work forward. As a DJ, he owns a rare achievement of being a resident at Tel- Aviv’s most prestige clubs – Breakfast Club, The Block & Cat & Dog – though his best moments shine when it comes to lead his own party – “E-Boded” – an ongoing series of underground outdoor raves (now on their 8th year), that reshaped both sound and character of the Tel Aviv scene. Stephan’s sound as a dj range between minimal dub, crispy house and trippy techno, always with a touch of a sophisticated depth and boundless imagination.

The special guest in the Terrace this week is none other than Kattermukke label boss Dirty Doering. He’ll be stopping by SASH by Night after Subsonic Music to close the red room with 3 hours of his signature sound. This week on warm up duties for the frist three hours is our resident Kerry Wallace.

Returning HOME from Bali is Escape Sundays resident Scotty Cal taking on the blue room from 10pm. Taking the Den to a close this week is our good buddy Tom Akroyd; he’s been chippying away at his record mixing all year and has really nailed it the last two times we caught him spin.

★ Dirty Doering ★
If all went according to plan you wouldn’t be the least interested in this text. Indeed the story of young Velten who leaves his hometown in the Black Forest to find an orderly apprenticeship in Berlin and who grows up over time – such a story wouldn’t be very gripping.
Fortunately there is a club in Berlin that is called „Ostgut“ and people like Velten who like to make irrational decisions from time to time. The outcome is foreseeable: instead of sitting in the subway on his way to work, on a Monday morning, Velten much rather joins his pals in his run down flat for an after hour. Luckily these pals not only share their passion for sheer endless nights, but also start to organise event- series, open bars or turn a rundown Berlin backyard into a club. This is exactly the path that turned Velten within a short period of time into a DJ, producer and finally Katermukke label boss DIRTY DOERING.
