Another Sunday falls upon us the week before we roll out the red carpet for Queen Lizzie’s big day. This time, we’ll be keeping it strictly local and intimate with some of closest top shelf beat matchers.
Working backwards chronologically, Stipé brings the evening to a close with a surprise visit Down Under after the man of the hour relinquishes command after being knighted with the We Like crown.
Shermacher aka Shermanescu makes his awaited return of The Sherm. Pillar of S*A*S*H and late night disco distributor serving out enough groove to turn Hare Krishna into a bad man, Marley will provide the afternoon jam before Tombo steps up to the plate.
Dragging him away from behind the bar and out into the sunshine, Nik Kos has been quietly squirrelling away behind the bar @Slyfox and doubly as hard at home behind the decks. After his first appearance behind the CDJ’s at our takeover of the venue with Mihai, he’s won our ears for another visit.

Quietly chipping (pun intended) away across Sydney’s nightclub platform almost weekly over the past two years, the Bowral Bomber has more silent disco and warm up slots under his belt than a deaf chef. The We Like banner is granted to those who may not have had the opportunity to tackle the peak time slot and we wholeheartedly feel Tom’s earned his stripes on this one!

Somewhat of an adopted Aussie now, our fellow cheeky and giggly gentleman has returned from Europe’s soundscape for a short stint and a quick rinse within the Greenwood’s courtyard.

Mirroring the theme of this week – strong locals doing what they do best – slinging solid tunes across all hours of the night and morning.
This week’s slingers include: the reincarnated Australian Pablo Escobar – Eddie Sherwood as he takes care of The Terrace warm up, paving the way for Kerry Wallace at the stroke of midnight while the Mesan gentlemen take top honors in the red room this week.
In The Den, Mike Watt’s shows Watts up with Venda on Cinderella duties and Tyson Bruun providing the Lokomotion till the close of the room.
A strong offering of local talent of the highest calibres in our opinion.
★ Mesan ★
From the very first days of S*A*S*H, George and Sammy have been there. From supper sets in The Abercrombies’ Den, previous WeLike.. headliners, warehouse party starters and festival afternoon sountrack-ers, Mesan have stamped their deep and melodic on our crowds over the last 7 years. This set – there is no afternoon tunes, no warm up slots, just a solid Terrance rinsing.
