The wonderful Watson’s EQ forecourt keeps it kickin’ as the Lokomotiv boys unite behind the decks for a showcase of the deep dark world of underground house music. Tyson Bruun & Lachie Simpson saddle up at the train station for a full steam ahead endeavour. To keep things linear, Venda waddles down to Carousel with a fresh bag of records and a hot hard-drive filled with new & unreleased musical mysteries…
With a freight train of tunes coming our way, the boys from Lokomotiv have a heap of new grooves to test out with a session under the stars. The pair have worked tirelessly within the scene for many years now, and with a recent re-ignition of their homegrown label, the boys are ready to kick things into overdrive. They’ll be joined by the delightful Jay McMullen, a star figure within the humble Sydney scene, if he’s not coding away, he’s down a deep rabbit hole of records & unknown gems. Milla receives a warm welcome for her return to the stage, the hearty disc jockey takes control to take things up a notch in the early afternoon. C29STY rounds out the bill for day as he struts his stuff into the courtyard for his overdue day-but.
Local legend Venda takes to the trustee booth within the walls of Carousel as we gear up for yet another session under the red lights. An icon within the local & national scene, Venda has played a big role in putting our country on the map for underground minimal grooves. He’s got the beats for it all, so we cannot wait to see what he’s been cooking up lately. He’ll be joined by Ryan Kabaara for the close, a notable individual with a diverse sound for all occasions, whilst Ameer Mikhael sets foot back inside as he preps the stage for our notable main man.
