Ahoy there, Gold Coast!
With a midweek public holiday, in the middle of the warm summer months, we’re throwing caution to the wind and throwing one hell of a shindig on the high seas aboard the Yot Club. The Dutch phenom, and champion of the people, Chris Stussy makes his long-awaited return to Australian shores exactly 3 years since his last visit.
As reliable as he is as a producer, as a DJ, Stussy is just as widely informed and draws on styles to suit the many different settings in which he plays. Main stages at Awakenings through to cult underground clubs such as Watergate (Berlin), fabric (London), Fuse (Brussels) and Elrow (Barcelona) all come under his spell in equally memorable ways, with tours of Australia, New Zealand, Asia and South America already in the books, plus regular appearances across Amsterdam’s finest venues.
From long, slow, deep and tension building mixes to more high impact, quick chops and high energy cuts, he is a versatile selector who is always on the move.
Joining the Stuss on board the mighty vessel, our very own Danni B steps into the warmup slot, with Beandip taking care of the opening grooves.
