Well, it’s been a long-time coming Perth. We put out the call for promoters and just as we were all set and ready to go the venue pulled out on us at the 11th hour. Now, nearly a full year on, we’ve finally sunk our teeth in and locked away the launch of S.A.S.H Perth, with none other than Chris Stussy to fly the yellow flag into The Court.
As reliable as he is as a producer, as a DJ, Stussy is just as widely informed and draws on styles to suit the many different settings in which he plays. Main stages at Awakenings through to cult underground clubs such as Watergate (Berlin), fabric (London), Fuse (Brussels) and Elrow (Barcelona) all come under his spell in equally memorable ways, with tours of Australia, New Zealand, Asia and South America already in the books, plus regular appearances across Amsterdam’s finest venues. From long, slow, deep and tension building mixes to more high impact, quick chops and high energy cuts, he is a versatile selector who is always on the move.
We’re keeping a little mystery around the day for just now with the local lineup to be announced in the coming weeks.
